Huawei Ascend W1 Is Ready for Launch

Windows Phone 8 has talked quite a lot about itself in recent months and currently, it is now supported by a few phone manufacturers. Nokia with its beautiful Lumia 920 and Lumia 820, Samsung with its ATIV S and there are two models released by HTC, the 8S and 8X. These phones will not be the only ones; in fact, the Huawei Ascend W1 is now ready for launch, with a design that closely resembles the 8S and 8X.
It has a screen 4” WVGA display, a dual-core 1.2GHz processor, 400MHz GPU, 512 MB RAM and 4 GB of onboard storage. Add to that, a decent 5Mp rear-facing camera and a VGA front-facing camera. The battery is quite impressive at 2000 mAh, particularly powerful for a mid-range smartphone.
It should be noted that the microUSB port is now moved to the right and not at the center as it was commonly employed by other Huawei’s models. Various colors options are available, again following a common practice adopted by HTC. This new smartphone will be the cheapest Windows Phone 8 handset on the market. The Chinese company speaks of a price tag at around € 300 thus putting it into a direct competition with HTC 8S.
